Spree Living Room, Sunday Afternoon
Jul. 25th, 2010 05:01 pmWhat was a rich guy to do when he was stupidly bored, making faces at the fact that his normally four-person cabin was down to two and a hedgehog, and wanted to get his hands on something to help take the edge off?
Well, the cabins were named after candy, after all. And, while Warren had never really had the chance to indulge in, say, certain brand-names of candy while growing up, there was nothing keeping him from doing so now, right?
In spades?
Look, he had no frame of reference for things like, 'that is way too much money to spend on way too much candy.'
And that was why he was carrying a case of Spree into his cabin today. He'd been inspired.
This could only end in stomach ache.
[For the cabinmate! Unless you have some reason to be in Spree!]

Date: 2010-07-27 05:30 pm (UTC)"I'm not in any hurry to see you leave." The small circles that she was drawing on his chest were countered with some soft tracings with his fingers along the small of her back. "This... I like."

Date: 2010-07-27 07:07 pm (UTC)Hopefully he'd understand it was a good turn, a wonderful, thrilling, if surprising turn.

Date: 2010-07-27 07:22 pm (UTC)In a good way, of course. Good, good sneaking.

Date: 2010-07-27 07:32 pm (UTC)A good concussion! Really!
"And I blinked once or twice and the whole world had shifted slightly. To where being held by you feels like the most natural thing ever."

Date: 2010-07-27 08:07 pm (UTC)There was a pause, and then he was laughing a little as well. A soft chuckle seemed to play wonderful counterpoint to that giggle of hers.
"Forever."
Or at least until one of them developed a cramp or had to pee.

Date: 2010-07-27 08:33 pm (UTC)Though with that healing factor...
"We'll flunk all our classes!" Karla said, trying to sound appropriately shocked. "And our friends will have to file into the cabin if they want to see us again." She giggled again. "But it's worth it."

Date: 2010-07-27 08:54 pm (UTC)Not dirty.
Mostly.
"Well, I think that it's worth it, at least."

Date: 2010-07-27 08:58 pm (UTC)Karla was willing to suffer a lot for love--or, at least, snuggles--but just because she came from a Territory named Glacia, it didn't mean she actually liked winter.

Date: 2010-07-27 09:04 pm (UTC)"If it comes to that, I could pick you up and carry you to someplace warmer," Warren offered, ever the gentleman.

Date: 2010-07-27 09:09 pm (UTC)"You're suggesting that we should just fly South for the winter?"

"Besides, geese are mean."

Date: 2010-07-27 09:21 pm (UTC)There was a definite 'time spent with Kate goes horribly wrong' trend going on, here.

Date: 2010-07-27 09:32 pm (UTC)"I like the playground," Karla admitted. "And taking care of the flowers and things. I just give the pond a wide berth." She dropped her eyes and tried not to blush. "We sorta almost nearly got arrested in the pond," she admitted.

Date: 2010-07-27 09:35 pm (UTC)In all fairness, it was totally possible here on Fandom Island.

Date: 2010-07-27 09:41 pm (UTC)Wait. Perhaps yet more context was needed. "Burgled with permission," she clarified.

Date: 2010-07-27 09:42 pm (UTC)"They gave you permission to steal their stuff?"
...
"Wouldn't that make it borrowing? Or just... a gift?"

Date: 2010-07-27 09:56 pm (UTC)...It should be stated, for the record, that this was another one of Karla's 'brilliant plans.'
"So I got permission from Sophie to burgle the gallery. She said it would make an excellent test of her alarm system. Then I dressed up like a supervillain and tried to heist." Heist was now a verb, apparently. "...I wasn't as sneaky as I thought, though, and I accidentally tripped an alarm. The police caught up with us as we were having an epic battle. In the flamingo pond."
See? This all made perfect sense!

Date: 2010-07-27 09:59 pm (UTC)"You know," Warren said at length, "that actually sounds really fun."
This could not possibly end well.

Date: 2010-07-27 10:05 pm (UTC)It was going to end in tears, but until it did, it would be both awesome and epic.
