Spree Living Room, Sunday Afternoon
Jul. 25th, 2010 05:01 pmWhat was a rich guy to do when he was stupidly bored, making faces at the fact that his normally four-person cabin was down to two and a hedgehog, and wanted to get his hands on something to help take the edge off?
Well, the cabins were named after candy, after all. And, while Warren had never really had the chance to indulge in, say, certain brand-names of candy while growing up, there was nothing keeping him from doing so now, right?
In spades?
Look, he had no frame of reference for things like, 'that is way too much money to spend on way too much candy.'
And that was why he was carrying a case of Spree into his cabin today. He'd been inspired.
This could only end in stomach ache.
[For the cabinmate! Unless you have some reason to be in Spree!]

Date: 2010-07-26 07:16 pm (UTC)There was a long pause, then, and he found himself grinning in spite of himself.
"We need to have curry more often."

Date: 2010-07-26 07:25 pm (UTC)"Hell's fire, Mother Night, and may the Darkness be merciful!" she said eventually. "She asked you that. What on earth did she think we were doing?"
There was a joke, about whatever physical act curry translated to, it would be 'hot,' but Karla was not about to make it.
"I think wanting more curry might fall under bad intention," she decided. "At least, if we're going with Raven's definition."

Date: 2010-07-26 08:02 pm (UTC)She flushed a little as she caught his eye. "And because you can always ask for more."

Date: 2010-07-26 08:09 pm (UTC)It was a good way to get Warren blushing and awkward and chewing his lip, a goofy little smile trying to assert itself as his dominant expression.
And, truth be told, it was a good way to get Warren to hold his breath as he faced her, leaning closer to her, just a little.
"I always knew there was a reason I liked pineapple so much."

Date: 2010-07-26 08:30 pm (UTC)He could feel her breath. And it was driving Warren crazy. Crazy enough to bridge that gap. Crazy enough to exhale in a short breath of a laugh as he bumped his nose against hers, and then closed his eyes, and then--
She had lips. His lips had to be pressing against her lips. Now.
Pineapple.

Date: 2010-07-26 08:38 pm (UTC)But then he had and he still was and, oh, it was nice yes.
Her eyes, which had widened in surprise, fluttered closed and she reached up with one hand to press it against his cheek, holding him closer. Just in case he had any thoughts of backing away...

Date: 2010-07-26 08:46 pm (UTC)This had the added bonus of not only keeping him from breaking more feathers, but also of blocking the view of their kiss from any prying eyes.
[Ben Foster needs to kiss people in movies where he doesn't look like an unshaven hobo.]

Date: 2010-07-26 09:03 pm (UTC)Screw imagination. Reality was where it was at.
Her hand slid back, curling around his neck, fingers tangling a little in his hair and she made a little noise of approval in her throat.
[Mmmm...hobo kisses...]

Date: 2010-07-26 09:12 pm (UTC)And with her fingers in his hair like that, he found himself getting a little bolder, reaching around her and trailing one hand along her back.
He'd worry about things like breathing? Later.

Date: 2010-07-26 09:37 pm (UTC)If his other hand was knotted up in her clothing, now, he really wasn't paying attention that far.
[In lieu of kissy icons, I offer random artsy icons of Warren without a shirt.]

Date: 2010-07-26 10:12 pm (UTC)Just in time because then he was kissing her again and piddly little things like moving or breathing or thinking was all washed away in a torrent of Oh, yes please. And if his hand was knotted up in her shirt, it was only fair because her hands were back, tangled up in his hair.

Date: 2010-07-26 10:22 pm (UTC)Forever and ever. They wouldn't even pause for lunches.
The 'forever and ever' part was going to be demonstrated some more, as the hand that had been tracing up and down her spine was now moving up to knot in her hair, and he was biting gently at her lip.
(no subject)
Date: 2010-07-26 11:52 pm (UTC)Now that Karla had time to think about that. Instead she was lunging for him again, letting go of his hair to grab fistfuls of his shirt, almost slamming his back against the couch even as she was pulling him down towards her again. This time her kiss was hot and hungry.
See what you did, Warren? See?

Date: 2010-07-27 12:17 am (UTC)Teeth, he decided, were totally his friends.
Well, teeth, and lips, and hands and, he was moaning, a sound that started somewhere deep in his chest as they kissed.
He wasn't going to be shy about nibbling at her lip again, no.
(no subject)
Date: 2010-07-27 01:01 am (UTC)If he was going to nip, Karla just had to retaliate by deepening the kiss, tentatively sliding her tongue forward to touch his.

Date: 2010-07-27 01:46 am (UTC)He'd been almost afraid, when she'd jerked away. And now, he couldn't remember any of that. Just this, here and now, and God, her tongue.
That next noise he made could almost be taken as a pleased chuckle.

Date: 2010-07-27 03:27 am (UTC)Since he seemed okay with holding her close, she let go of his shirt, winding her arms around his neck and and pressing herself against him. Dimly, she knew of a need to set boundaries, to explain things, but right now, all she could focus on was getting closer, more points of contact, and that heat, oh that delicious warmth spiraling through her from wherever his lips and his hands were.

Date: 2010-07-27 11:38 am (UTC)*Happy.*
He arched upward slightly, because while most of his communicative processes weren't exactly functional at the moment, it was difficult to do anything but demonstrate his desire to be close. Closer.
(no subject)
Date: 2010-07-27 02:03 pm (UTC)It wasn't even words so much, just a general feeling of agreement and warmth and, yes, happiness and wanting, oh so much wanting...
She eased a hand out of his hair, sliding it back and down to run her nails gently across the top of his wings.
(no subject)
Date: 2010-07-27 02:42 pm (UTC)Now, he could see what she'd been talking about when she'd mentioned how sensitive a person's wings could be, and it was his turn to shiver. His fingers pressed more firmly against her back, his other hand knotting through her hair.
Yes.
(no subject)
Date: 2010-07-27 03:00 pm (UTC)Hearing the little keening noises she making in her throat was finally what moved Karla to slowly, regretfully, break the kiss. She didn't move--it was entirely possible she couldn't move--just looked into Warren's eyes.
"Sorry," she said, flushed. "But unless I wanted to end up topless on your cabin's couch--" The mental image that accompanied those words flashed into her mind, his hands skimming up the sensitive skin of her ribcage... and she stopped talking to lean her forehead on his shoulder and groan.
